Wedding Contract

The wedding photography contract covers the pertinent areas any photography business owners should have to cover themselves legally and creates the relationship with the client.

Includes provisions such as: services, retainer with liquidated damages, payment schedule, fees for late or missed payments, pre-wedding consultation and requests, cancellation, rescheduling, failure to perform, substitute photographer, exclusive photographers, intellectual property and creative license, copyright ownership, artistic discretion, permission to sell to third parties, safe working environment, cooperation of clients and guests, styling, meals and breaks, completion schedule, album design and production, photographer’s standard price list, travel and overage fees, client usage of photographs, venue guidelines, permits/fees and client responsibilities, limit of liability, indemnification, construction and severability, legal miscellany (attorneys fees, jurisdiction, venue, waiver, etc.), and notice.

Model Release

A model release is a legal release typically signed by the subject of a photograph granting permission to publish the photograph in one form or another. This form also releases any claims the client may have to future compensation for use of images.

Print Release

The print release form is readily customizable to be included with digital file orders to outline the do’s and dont’s that the client can do with your art. This gives the client the permission to print only – does not give permissions for commercial or other uses. This does reemphasize the copyright laws.

Second Shooter Agreement

This agreement allows for peace of mind between the primary and secondary individuals as it outlines all the duties, responsibilities, payment, etc for a cohesive and successful relationship.

Product Delivery

This agreement is to be signed by clients upon acceptance of products. It binds and reminds the client that by accepting the products all sales are final and no refunds will be given.

Album Design Bundle

This outlines the procedures, ordering dates, design approvals, design modifications and applicable fees and/or costs that may be associated with changes beyond what is included in the collection /album sold.

Includes Timeline – Outlines the timeline for yourself and for clients on initial communications, reminders, deadlines, etc.

Third Party Payer Docs

Is there a third-party (such as a parent or relative) who wants to pay for the wedding? Use these documents for couple approval + outlines expectations with the paying party.
